Muskego New Berlin girls soccer wrap-up

Paula Bohl and Cari Westover each tallied two goals as Muskego blanked Oak Creek, 4-0, May 5 to improve to 6-0 in the Southeast Conference.

Bohl started the scoring at the 10-minute mark, then Westover took a pass from Jessie Wieland for the second goal at 31 minutes.

"We struggled getting into a flow," coach Eric Hess said. "I basically subbed out my entire team and put in my reserves with 10 minutes left in the half. It took 45 seconds for them to score a goal. They played faster and with more pace and energy."

Westover tallied again early in the second half, then the starters returned and Bohl scored, assisted by Rachel Pradarelli.

Goaltender Andrea Beczkiewicz made three saves for the Warriors, who outshot the Knights, 25-3.

Muskego will be home against Kenosha Bradford today, May 14, and at Franklin on Tuesday, May 19, to close out SEC action.

The Warriors earned a split to finish third in the Pewaukee Cup Tournament last weekend, losing a 1-0 decision to Grafton on May 8 and beating Milwaukee Lutheran, 3-0, May 9.

Bohl, Westover and Jenny Rogowski had the goals against Lutheran, with Meghan Elvington adding one assist. Lutheran had no shots on goal against Muskego, which improved to 9-6-1 overall.
