Palestine's Shelby Alvarez was voted Most Valuable Player on the All-District 35-4A girls soccer team, the league's coaches announced.

Jacksonville's Cynthia Quintana was named Defensive MVP, while Nacogdoches' Carrie West was selected Offensive MVP.

Kaitlin Arrington of Jacksonville was tabbed Sophomore of the Year and Marissa Salazar of Diboll was named Newcomer of the Year. more
