BU Announces Class of 2013

BOSTON - The Boston University women's soccer team and
head coach Nancy Feldman are pleased to announce the 2013 recruiting class,
which will compete with the two-time defending America East champions in the
fall. The Terriers, who will be looking for their seventh conference title
in 10 years, welcome a diverse group of seven student-athletes that hail
from as close as Massachusetts to as far as Hawaii.
The 2013 class boasts three local players, but the coaching staff also
stretched their recruiting efforts to New York, Pennsylvania, Virginia and
Hawaii. Each of the seven incoming Terriers fills different roles throughout
the lineup and plug in holes left by graduation.
Hailing from just 20 miles outside Boston, Adrienne Anderson of Needham,
Mass., will graduate shortly from The Rivers Schools where she is a
three-time All-ISL and two-time all-state and all-New England selection. Her
high school team won the Independent School League her sophomore and junior
campaigns. In addition, Anderson was a multi-sport athlete at The Rivers
School, where she also competed in swimming and lacrosse.
